The Entertainment News '24 Issue #27

Sunday, 07 July 2024
Well well well, what do we have here- You think if I check all the stats for the first word of each Entertainment News post, the most popular word used will be "well"? *laughs*

Anyways, welcome back to another season of Anime where we forget about "SasaKoi" for now (lol) and focus on more hetero love stories (lmao) just because- Did you even read the fanfic I wrote yesterday which is probably going to be sadder than any of these shows I watch below?? Haha ah hey I would at least hope ONE of these will make me tear up. Last season's one was a cryfest in comparison lmao

So yeah, sit tight, changing the format of this weekly summary hopefully I will listen to my own advice as I write tbh haha, and enjoy me rejecting half of the new shows and THEN proceed to complain about this week's music releases- I need to be less of a grumpy old man tbh

をニパ Tokidoki Bosotto Roshiago de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san
"I have absolutely zero interest in you." Now say that in Russian LMAO
Dude, if you read the wall of text on Alya's back describing her without subtitles? You deserve some respect. But if you had continue watching this just like a degenerate lmao, then maybe I'll take that back. *laughs* In this new series I didn't intend to pick up... I can't make a Russian joke just because I know nothing (#RoshiDere01), imagine making a filler episode for this series. *laughs* Yeah, I saw that Russian supervisor on the opening credits though, maybe they did do one. Also from the opening credits you would've figured out that spoiler alert, the guy Kuze? (No, not from the "Yakuza" video game series) His childhood friend who taught him Russian is likely just by his side. Literally. Before all that reveal though which might just happen before the century is over lol this Anime is self-aware, let's set the premises for this love story. Firstly, perfect girl who can hide her feelings. That sounds like every other Anime out there but for this case, this girl can speak her lungs out. In another language. Normally this will be an issue for anyone who can't Russian ie. every dude in Japan with a few exceptions, and Kuze here happens to be one of them. It's like I can Chinese dialect hearing my relatives speak them all the time, this guy somehow learned all the important stuff from some Russian kid who played with him when they were kids *wink*, including "cute", and... well that's all I remembered. *laughs* Hey, calling guys "cute" isn't an everyday thing bro, ask Kuze's 2 male friends. *giggles* Then, what has got this story going. For the guy, he's basically just an otaku no surprises there, maybe masochist I don't know or that Alya-san here is sadist lmao we will talk about her in a bit, and just like that dude in Anime "KONOBI", this guy likes his Anime girls more than real life girls. BRUH. *laughs* And Alya-san here is just trying her best to flirt with him... indirectly, in Russian. Well, almost indirectly. Sometimes it's daring him in Russian, sometimes it's just in Japanese. So yeah, pick your poison dude- THIS GUY WILL GO FOR ANYTHING THOUGH *laughs* Yeah so this is just otaku lover plot again, where the girl tries to get the guy to notice her. Damn. Any other options though? *laughs* But not only that as we will see further ahead if you would unlike me (lol), he is likely associated with other girls who would be more interested in him to make Alya here jealous, maybe letting him put her sock (single sock) on her is probably worth the accidental touching of her crotch- This is not a porno. *laughs* All in all... it'll be great if this is real life. *laughs* Yeah real-life drama series incoming haha but they will need a Russian-speaking cast lol. Coming back though, yes as expected the Russian here and there is bugging me, and I don't think changing to English or whatever language will help either. Everything else is alright though, ecchi scenes are kinda choppy though I have to give them credit for being different LMAO FEET *dabs* and then everything else is surprisingly good. Theme songs, animation, all that stuff. Too bad I guess I'm not giving more of this, and we may never find out who Saya-chan is voicing among the female cast. *silence* Nah, not going to give 3-episode rule as I thought I might throughout this episode.
P.S. "If professing my love for a particular work with no regard of time and place is the definition of insanity, then I'll gladly admit I am insane." BRO STOP RUINING OUR REP (if we had any) "I never imagined that any girl would want to be friends with you." SUMIPE CAN YOU STOP ATTACKING ME PLS haha maybe I'm masochist too? *laughs*
P.P.S. "Outside of emergencies and cases where they are needed for reference, the use of smartphones is banned within school grounds." Oh yeah this is still a thing in Japan by the way, and really, should be a thing for all schools on this planet. *laughs* Oh also, what if you don't have one to do references on? Yeah it's like that gaming conference where the devs go "do you guys not have phones" when promoting their mobile game haha *ugh* "Free gacha roll ends in 10 minutes" Okay that's an emergency *laughs*

をニパ Gimai Seikatsu
"...Because even if we suddenly become siblings one day, we have no shared experiences living together." BUT THEN!! *giggles*
Yes, this series will make you doubt. Ah, how lovely is storytelling, isn't it? *giggles* In this new series where typical step sibling relationships in Anime are overrated (#GimaiSeikatsu01), let's talk about how peaceful and eerily smooth this whole story is. Yeah, it's weird, everything is going smoothly so far. Just dad saying you're meeting your new step family, and then you meet with them in the evening- Oh hot mom identified LETS GO!! Haha that's why we should not be doing stepsister relationships we should do stepmom- This is not a porno. *laughs* Okay come back here me, we got more serious stuff to talk about. Not about Asamura because he sounds like your typical high school student going for prep school for college and living his single child life so far with his quirky dad lmao, but of Saki-chan here, the stepsister. For starters, she went out and drew the line between them real good. Not hinting on much, but not like you would do anything to her after you heard what she has to say. Like, you don't want to be those friends who she stopped being with just because they don't agree with her or I would like to think that she had to deal with her mom who works at a not fishy at all bar as a waitress, probably got into more insults than ever, which is also why she wants to set the distance there and there. But ironically, during the move-in, she then wondered why Asamura here keeps speaking in formal language? Yeah that's why I say this plot is something it's like the girl went so far as to draw the line as first impression and then asked why he is being to formal and tense? B*TCH haha and this is why women. *laughs* Anyways, more than there is to be said about the story because damn you can only be half as hyped as that female colleague at Asamura's part time job at a bookstore, who would think of naughty things these kids would do without their parents like a f**king Anime degenerate- We don't do such things here. We go on respect, dude. Chad moves all along. Move away, dirty thoughts. Hold on to that bra though, Saki-chan looks quite stacked, not gonna lie here. *laughs* All in all... hmm... *silence* I like the subtlety of the story so far though, and if the end of this episode isn't signalling anything (no not the lights lol that's just living in a new place problems) that Asamura here is changing Saki-chan's life bit by bit because you know that's what life is living with others who are way more active and/or well-mannered than you are, but yeah, just watching this relationship grow will be fairly interesting as they both influence each other over time, not to say before or even after knowing about their pasts will make this infinitely more heavy than just dropping the formality between them. For now though, I don't know what to make of this. I do like the pureness of the series though, so I'll stick around to see if this story has anything else to offer. Whether it could be sad stories worth consoling, or more evil intentions which hey why not right I would highly doubt for the latter, maybe something will change over time as they live under the same roof. But yeah, not in the way you are thinking. I know, I'm still so corrupted I can't even just treat this as normal. Maybe this will fix me as much as it'll fix them, we shall see.
[TL:DR; "It might be tough for me to treat you the same as a close friend..." *slaps hands* BRUH. *laughs*]
P.S. "Novels and movies like to indulge in the idea that they aren't related by blood, that they can simply fall in love and have a boy-girl relationship." I don't know which author got attacked, but someone got attacked. *laughs* "Are you ready for (re-marriage)?" And then the dad got burnt on the food packaging is *chef's kiss* haha it's like they know
P.P.S. "Maybe it's the way I look, but I'm not very photogenic" It's okay dear imouto we will see each other often we don't need photos *dabs* "Since we're going to start living together, I was worried you might be a scary guy" Well you don't know me. *silence* No I'm not scary I'm more scared of women than they are of me "Oh, I wonder about that." WOAH WOAH FIRST IMPRESSIONS BRO *laughs*

をニパ Giji Harem
"Even I dream about being in a harem, you know." Wow bro you sound just like my friend-
LMAO why is he striking a pose just to say he's the club president? Oh because he isn't. *laughs* In this new series I decided to pick up to take a look because of the one voice actress haha ah hey (#GijiHarem01), is this a 4-koma series? Because it sure feels like it with the fast pace. Damn, I missed such adaptations. Thanks Bilibili, I guess. *silence* Well moving on haha, it's also likely so that such shows can even appear on the big screen thanks to other Anime producers bringing them in (think "Aharen-san") so that we can just have a laugh and forget about whatever cr*p that is just polluting the Anime industry driven by money right now. *silence* Okay still too dark, so let's keep this talk light-hearted just like what this series is essentially about. Senpai is nice guy, new girl is shy and finding the drama club in high school in which he is the club president a member of (lmao), and somehow this just turned into what feels like a reverse "Takagi-san", if this makes any sense to reference. Though I would argue that the fast-paced changing of roles here though feels more like "Hyakkano" but we don't need multiple women. *giggles* Is this what it means to be replaced by AI? *laughs* No, this feels like Heaven is what is this haha, because damn there are multiple layers of comedy this series is going for here just in a simple story of one-sided romance I would believe, so let's dissect Rin-chan to the core. *laughs* For starters, she likes her senpai Eiji. It's not obvious with all the damn acting she is doing all the time haha, but yeah, let's just assume she is doing these more or less elaborately though in shame, and it's not like she knows of another language to cover her tracks (lmao that's anΒ "RoshiDere" reference), so instead of going along it feels more like every time she is just pacifying the senpai is where, you know, she gets a slice of the acting she very much aced just walking into the door and doing a line for the others to see on the spot. Still though, you would notice romance antics here and there and it reallyΒ feels like every other interaction between Rin-chan and Eiji is like she went too far and then it's the "oh shit I went too far" haha and then she tones it down, but yeah, if you pay attention somehow in some form, this acting business is well, disguised nicely to fool you into thinking this is just a love story where it has probably made me laugh so much I'm going to puke out my afternoon tea. *laughs* Last but not least, I would like to mention about the comedy. Damn, even if every scene will turn into some form of acting much like a topic-focused series and a lot less about real life, and that's just not how Anime works *laughs* because it really reminds me of "Tejina-senpai" and why I rejected that monstrosity, this doesn't feel as bad and that is impressive in my opinion, making sure I get a different laugh in every corner even if it's without Rin-chan acting for her dear senpai. *wink* All in all... I think I will be soΒ Hayami SaoriΒ intoxicated and unable to recover if I actually watched this stupid funny show till the end. *laughs* And this is just the first episode, dude! How do I cope with this... *giggles* Oh by writing it down haha yeah, this is thr fanfic series I've been writing here but IF I can make an Anime out of it. *laughs* Well, looks like the dude who wrote this got the budget and managed to create this gem. *giggles* It has also ended serialization on the source material so it'll be even more interesting to see whether this ending will come, if they made it happen. Like, I saw/heard this at the corner of my eye/ear when the girls in Eiji's class walked out and be like "she's cute, isn't she, more than (the senpai) deserves" which CANNOT be more true for this series haha this lucky dude just being himself is already getting more than what he can ask for. He might go overboard sometimes and so does our dear Rin-chan *giggles* so I would say there are some fireworks waiting to explode on us, if anything. Man, maybe I give this series a thumbs up. I'm just wondering when or if I will get bored of Hayami Saori's voice acting- NEVER!!! *laughs*
[TL:DR; "I think a lack of response makes this way more embarrassing." AND I LIKE *laughs*]
P.S. "Maybe I should take you out on a date sometime, then." Oh hell yeah Hayami Saori I'll be waiting. *giggles* "I-It's not like I was doing that for your sake!" LOL tsundere, dude?? We saw that before from you already that's called "OreImo" *laughs* "Eat mine, too." WOAH WOAH haha
P.P.S. "What about the real me, then?" Woah lady hold up we can't just jump to the final episode *laughs* "Gotta be loungewear!" Wait, what?? *laughs* "I've always wondered what actresses wear at home!" Well not loungewear like you think it is bro even Ajuju mentioned before she would just get tired of Gelato Pique and just wear T-shirts and pants that were given to them for free at live events
[I mean, this Anime is just (based on personal experience) Mr. Secondary Role Guy Okamoto-san acting as himself bullying others in the recording studio so YES this is better than that "Seiyuu Radio" Anime previous season. *laughs* More Rin-chan I guess]

をニパ Shoushimin Series
"An ordinary person must not stand out. They must spend every day in peace and do everything possible to avoid everything that interferes with that."
Damn, if "ichigo taruto" ever sold me on an Anime trailer... It's THIS. *laughs* In this new series from an author I know too well this feels like a trip back to 2012 haha shout out to "Hyouka" by the way (#Shoushimin01), comes a new story where, you know, we just be cute and that's it. *laughs* I highly doubt that's what it means to be ordinary in this Anime, but heck, if you think this is going to be more peaceful and pure than whatever "Gimai Seikatsu" showed me just now? Don't even think of that possibility. *giggles* So, I'll talk about what I like about this series and why this is already given the get-go a season ago when it was announced. First of all, this girl Osanai. She cute. *giggles* She is a good female friend to have if I ever have one, a perfectly balanced introvert. *giggles* But most important of all, she is voiced by Yomiya Hina- Wait let's try this again. *laughs* She can detect dangers to her peace- She should work for the UN. *laughs* Like, she knows when her friend's friend is going to be an obstacle to her ordinary life (shout out to title) and F**KING THREATEN TO RUIN that final day sale of limited edition strawberry tarts which one cannot get until the following spring? How DARE you. *giggles* It's okay, she won't get mad so I will do it for her. YOU F**KS- Anyways haha, ordinary life. We don't get mad here in this series, is the second thing we will talk about. This series has peaceful vibes, so even if you are forced to help Kengo out after school to find a pouch of some chick you can't lay your hands on (lmao sorry Takada we already knew it's you), then either you just ghost us which is still better than getting into any violence or hate speech or things like that just to solve a simple mystery of someone's stuff getting stolen(?) for no reason. *silence* We'll just call the cops. *laughs* And lastly, let me talk about the mysteries. This feels like a short arc series compared to the shorter ones written in their previous work averaging about 6-8 episodes in length mainly because it's more of a drag as I recall, this one might have just the one story arc but will be longer considering, uh, if you saw the ending part of the story which I would say officially declared the end of their ordinary lives (shout out to title again) we might be into more trouble than we might think, even as the bicycle was stolen in front of their very eyes. Remember when they said to not be involved yet help people so to keep that balance for others as onto themselves? Welp. *giggles* All in all... bro, this series already sold me (get it?) (because tarts) the moment I hear the opening theme song, what else do you need? *giggles* I'm pretty sure the budget is set so high for them to recreate what we have liked about the "Hyouka" series ever since its adaptation nearly 12 years ago (Jesus Christ I'm old) which ensures all the faucets of this animation to be so good, don't even ask me how the theme songs are good or not. *thumbs up* Also, the animation did you even see the ending theme animation- Throughout the episode too I was basically the cream on that strawberry tart which is *chef's kiss* but which sadly fell to the ground probably making this the 2nd worst Anime betrayal ever since the one in "K-ON!" where Tsumugi stole the strawberry tart topping on Mio-chan lol remember that heart-breaking moment? *laughs* Still, the chain of events definitely convinced me to watch this, as I said before I will love Osanai here by the end of this I promise you, and Kobato... damn didn't you promise your not girlfriend here to move on with your lives in school? *ugh* Guess not now with all this fuss happening!! This might get real dark real fast to be frank, I'm not going to imagine that far until I have to. Ordinary life philosophy, remember? *wink*
[Maybe one of these days I have a strawberry tart for myself HAHAHA damn this Osanai is getting into me hehe]
P.S. "You must be pretty tough to be friends with (Kobato) Jogoro" BOOM GOTTEM bro can you just chill and not embarrass me in front of ma girl here
P.P.S. "The Japanese confectionaries your parents sell aren't too sweet, they are refined." The best kind of confectionaries "It's a beautiful establishment, but it's really not my type" OH WHAT haha this girl must love the Western influence lol even the guy just said it too

This week's releases really aren't much so I'll briefly touch on them. Hocchan's album isn't that great so I just gave the first song on the list just to prep myself for summer because damn Eve's song was so much better I said before I was touched just hearing the song itself despite it being a short song overall, they were more prepared than most of the theme songs for Anime I've watched this week. nano.RIPE's new song didn't get much of me I'm afraid, and we don't talk about Hitsujibungaku. Overrated Anime. *laughs* Gohoubi's song is alright though they look like a rough diamond in the dust who has only turned into major label recently also singing for another Anime by the way, unlike fhana's which has switched so many times in the music industry I don't even know if they are good anymore. *silence* I stopped at 2015 so what do you think? *laughs*

音ζ₯½Β Music News This Week
(*From Twitter/X; Information accurate as of writing)
Of course mol-74's live was great it was after dinner so I'm glad I got to catch it since I've never watched before, we don't care about Ajikan for now lol I can listen to that debut song so many times and I don't even care. *laughs* TrySail's music video sure is weird bringing a bunch of old Caucasians into the mix (lmao) but I guess this will be their weird song for the year lol, so I'll just listen to it again when the full release drops by. I really need help getting back to a decade ago where the good songs like Lil'B are to be honest. And yes, I'm hyped about SIX LOUNGE's appearance for "BLEACH" and my only grime is why the song sounded more emotional than epic. Uh oh. *laughs* Hinting on the story development wink wink? I trust them to make sense with the theme for the upcoming season. *thumbs up*

We're going in the right direction, guys, this is how you know. *giggles*

音ζ₯½Β Next Week on Klassic Note
(*Links to Apple Music Japan, in English where applicable)
And that's probably more than enough. *laughs* Hey, I gotta do something between now and whenever the next episode is back, okay? I gotta give the songs THEN react to the ending lmao I don't think that's how Anime works

So... what did you think? Did you scroll a mile before you reached here, or are my opinions too much on writing it was as if I was speaking like an extrovert? *laughs* Welcome, by the way, if you are new. *laughs* I highly doubt anyone is coming here, not even the guy who replied to my crazy prediction about SIX LOUNGE singing for Anime "BLEACH" next season. *dabs* But seriously though, that Bankai compilation and THEN Kyoraku shows up? Woah. *giggles* Oh yeah, also "Kuroshitsuji". *laughs* Next year in Anime is going to be DOPE- Haha or I'll only have sequels to watch. *silence* I appreciate the shows I get to watch this season now. *giggles* See you guys next week then, I hope I have made this more concise and less annoying than I would want myself to read tomorrow lmao, and until next time... maybe go get yourself a slice of strawberry cake or something. *giggles* I AM SO GOING TO DO THAT NOW haha maybe I do that tomorrow hehe

P.S. Today I learnt (from AI) that you can keep a slice of fresh strawberry cake for about 4 days before it loses its freshness. Dear me, I have ideas for this week's supper. *giggles*Β
