Yes, we are back, earlier than before though because I can't wait for another 7 more months to be able to talk about sexy Anime girl drawings again (lol), and this will likely be the momentum going forward despite me talking about a package this month already and another one next month for my birthday! Early birthday presents, why don't ya? *giggles*
So yeah, let's go down the rabbit hole once again, perhaps to a smaller extent, on what the new Comiket event has to offer!

WHAT THIS IS
If you have an idea what this is, it's literally what you will expect, maybe toned down. *laughs*
But if you do not know what it is, be sure to read up the first time I wrote of this back in 2023 (damn) and being the 3rd year coming, I've decided that we might be covering too many of these doujin (indie) artists and their "thin books" over time even if I do not consider returning artists (which I did) (lol), and also because Toranoana just gave me the middle finger on the credit card payment gateway and rejected my card payments back in August last year, I have decided to just let Melonbooks take the honour (and monopoly) for showcasing what Japan illustrators have to offer, how little and insignificant it might be! Oh, we don't talk about the hentai branch in this since that is subject to my selections- I would just choose all the pure ones if that's more interesting. *dabs*
Oh yeah, I'm just here because I'm going to do this at the least for every Comic Market event from now starting (technically) last year, which typically happens twice a year on every August which was referred to as "NatsuKomi", and then this one which is smaller one which happens near the end of the year in December, also often called "FuyuKomi". (I will do this January for the event on the previous year, and September the same year, in case the confusion in the post title.)
You will find plenty of cosplay and other indie stuff in the only event location of Tokyo Big Sight if you search online with #c105 or were there in person the tickets aren't that easy to get this isn't back then when admittance was free... But come back come back, we got some boobs books to cover, dammit! *laughs*
DOUJIN UPDATES FOR C105
Haha yeah since we are going to do this on the regular, might as well just keep it more or less concise?
BRO WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL THE ARTISTS?? Okay, maybe those who participated in the event. *giggles*
- Haruhiruri-sensei did come up tops with a new book of blue (yep that's their theme apparently) but yeah, I know this is more *fap* haha than what Iย chose this time around but
- Sano Hiyori-sensei did come up with a new book too but they are also deep into VTubers so
- riri-sensei was involved in drawing for a themed compilation book for C105 about uh, little girls showing off their underwear so MOVING ON (haha)
- Komizuki-sensei like many others were involved in showing off their works for the Melonbooks compilation for C105ย (total 180 artists btw) but I'm not going through that tbh this is a smaller scale this season (Edit: Alsoย Kagachisaku-sensei)
- Nakyo-sensei also released a book for C105 about their girls in winter, we talked about their previous book in summer
- Aroa-sensei did come up with a book for C105 themed around the colour yellow since I assume they drew it for the fall/autumn season which we don't cover here tbh
- Kantoku-sensei did some up with a new book AND their 5th anniversary book for C105 (you have been warned to click on the link)
- Rangu-sensei coming up tops with their new C105 book about their original character girls again
- Oh dammit Nagishiro Mito-sensei why must you be releasing new books on C105 years after I want to talk about your book from 4 years ago lol
- Miwano Ragu-sensei was involved in the illustration for a doujin audio work (yes those exist) and boy are those images perfect to put as my desktop wallpaper (hehe)
- Fuumi-sensei did come up with a new book for C105 too and yes, there is more Hololive VTuber Tsunomaki Watame
- Hiten-sensei also came up with a book for beautiful girls in kimono in the winter because I don't think they will be wearing yukata at this weather lol (go find out what differences they have)
- And KUREHA-sensei's new book for C105 featuring their original girl Tsukasa-chan is already making me *fap fap fap* haha
- This is interesting because Amamine-sensei did not just come up with a book for C105 but also another book featuring Hololive VTuber Hoshimachi Suisei which I assume you knew about how popular she is now, maybe capitalizing on the fact that she just released her new album this month
- And yeah Rosuuri-sensei is riding the high wave and releasing their 3rd original illustration book for C105ย featuring *fap* cat and *fap fap fap* rabbit (lmao)
And since Yomu-sensei is deep into drawing a light novel that someone else wrote (which was actually great btw there were s*x scenes lol),ย Chigusa Minori-sensei is releasing their new book on February featuring the lesbian couple (lol) and I will review that next month of course, and 92M-sensei is still jacking off to the hentai of an elder sister, uh... maybe we just stop here haha I hope I covered everyone I knew over the past couple of years or else I might have to update my Twitter/X list later.
THE FIVE COMMANDMENTS(?) OF DOUJINSHI
Okay we are not doing that, so let me give you a short rundown of what list of rules I put on myself to make this round of selections harder (or easier) because or else I will be buying everything:
- They have to be original illustration books; No comics, no anthologies or references to existing franchises (there are some which are not fully original because they can put their credited works, and those are fine as long as they don't take up half the book)
- They have to sold exclusively on Melonbooks at point of order, and almost all of the books fulfil this requirement except for the most popular of them who have the liberty to sell them elsewhere
- The illustrators of these books are to have Twitter/X and Pixiv accounts (though I will also share their Bluesky accounts if they have it)
- The books (and perhaps their content) are timeless; No numbers or sequels on the title, no year or year ranges attached (stated as for the event is fine), and hopefully no count labelling on the number of their published books (at least, not printed on the cover)
- The books have to be within 20 pages total as stated on the store, to allow shorter reviews with variety and larger range of selections
Oh, and unlike the summer one? This one will not have a budget since you know, it's only 6 books. That's the hidden 6th rule. *giggles*
For the requirements above, that means I will have to use a filtered link in Melonbooks to cover the first 2 points and then manually vetting them for the other 3 (and for the last one I might just up the limit to 24 tbh); In case the link is gone, I set the filters as pre-order only and thus will be by date range of the event such that at least, for this time, I can align all of them in one pre-order instead of finding them scattered across events around the period (see how I covered some books from the previous Comitia event).
Speaking of that though...
HOW IT WENT
Since this is a smaller run, this is a lot easier to manage as I only have the one pre-order run instead of what, THREE batches last year? Geez. *laughs*
I did intend to give Zenmarket (and even CDJapan) a chance for doing the honours and ship to me internationally instead of our usual accomplice (lol) Buyee which also runs Tenso which was my own address to facilitate those monthly runs from Japan, but uh, they didn't hold up too well. CDJapan rejected a couple of books below (and it isn't even the horny ones haha), and Zen... let's just say I still cannot swallow per item service fee considering I'm not going to buy 100 of anything just because for context, I'm buying for variety. *wink* So yeah even then, they wouldn't have fit in the pre-order schedule because somehow I can't get them (or am lazy to contact them) to ensure a single local shipping fee which was the perk this time around, so unlike the summer fair of a blog post I did last August, this went a lot more smoothly.
But this was also the first time doing this at this time of year, I only looked at the usual list at Melonbooks after the new year arrived so I may have missed some bangers, but I also noticed that the pre-order period for most books were within the end-January 2025 date, so I've decided to not cross the line and buy those who have exceeded that range, so I'm sorry Ko-yafu-sensei, tights are great I hope you know of Yomu-sensei lol, but your pre-order period wasn't aligned with the others so... *shrugs*
Now that we have sorted out how simple the orders this time around was haha I would argue it was easier than I thought I could've just conspired this in an afternoon *wink* lol, but I did spend more time to think of who should be in the list. I settled for SIX artists this time around without the Melonbooks compilation just because I want this to be shorter, and HERE ARE THE CANDIDATES!!

This is actually half the reason why I wanted to do this so let's welcome them with a round of applause from following them so long at Bluesky, this Mizuki Nagi's original illustration book!! If the rules above did not define my motives for doing this enough, this artist and their works are the PERFECT example of what I would want to see. Decent amount of original content not yet seen online because why would you just print those out and sell them (lol oops), an original character the artist is proud of showing them in various situations, and why not slap a name for her too so thanks Koharu-chan, I will visit a maid cafe if you actually exist in real life. *giggles* I also think they are the best among the line-up here, showing Anime-like beautiful drawings right from the get-go, showing us the character in many scenes that'll make you like this book more than her haha I think that is enough praising let's take a look! *blessed*

Trust me, I was pensive about whether I should even include this, but we do need our extreme right and I meant in terms of dangerous levels haha, we have Uniikura-sensei's new original illustration book!! You bet the cover got me real good lol, and believe me that it took me a while to find their profile considering they are using a common food term (typical seafood bowl with sea urchin and salmon roe) as their pen name, and that was all I remembered as I tried to find out more about what gratuitous breasts they brought to the table lol. But other than that though haha I mean that's all actually, I really am appreciate of their more detailed, strong lines in their drawings even though the perfection of body proportions in these ladies might be too far off perpendicular, if I were to be honest with you. *giggles* Yeah, this is a book for my bro who likes huge racks regardless of shape. *laughs* Still, I'm rather impressed with the content even though it's all about tying girls up for some reason... uh, maybe we take a look and you'll get what I mean. *laughs*

Okay I guess there is someone darker (OOF I'm getting cancelled) or maybe my first regret but you don't know that yet I wrote this after I saw all of them lmao, this is Minakami Rinka's new illustration book for C105!! I like how in their afterword they would like to draw more "Blue Archive" artwork and dear artist if you did so you wouldn't even be here so *shrugs* haha anyways welcome here I guess, and in general though I think their drawings are fine even just looking at the cover it also looks very everyday life themed which is always my theme I don't fancy fantasy anyways, but now that I look at the rather thin book (get it?) it didn't offer much in content and also showed us their older works which uh, does at least show their progress so far which is good! *giggles*
They also look like they have done this for many years how have I not known about them- Oh, they drew a hentai book for C104. *laughs* Well, at least they didn't cross the line for this!! MUAHAHA ABSTINENCE WINS THIS TIME (lol no wonder I find these drawing lines familiar-)

This is more of an artistic statement so I couldn't be mad at the lack of content, because this is Fuuro-sensei's new original illustration book in years!! I'm glad to have seen this ngl since they normally are drawing images for Final Fantasy series it looks like, and I think the poker card girls-with-butterflies theme should be relatively unique considering everyone else is just showing rack lol, but maybe it's also because of that they don't have much to offer which I would assume attributed to illustrators just drawing whatever is popular that isn't original content. *sob* Still, I'm here to support their cause with their brainwave so you're welcome, but if you were to have time to draw up those 2 joker characters that would be swell and worth this purchase.
Okay, I did get the special gift of a postcard-sized photo of the cover girl so- Which once again, could've just given us a full set!! Haha come on dude we can't keep doing this halfway! *sigh*

So before we actually get arrested with the final book lol, allow me to introduce our newest pure girl character candidate and damn I'm so glad I gave this a chance, this is Yukioto Neru's new illustration book!! I think the theme is rather obvious here it's monochrome in case your world isn't like mine yet *sob* lol, but turns out you can make a lot of designs with just black and white. From devil girl to cute cat girl... it's the same fictional girl by the way, that's how much the artist stretched the theme and gave us some eye-opener, I'll give you that. I wouldn't say that this is great, but the thin lines and rather unobtrusive extents they go to showcase their book is what maybe makes me think is above the average, I'm glad this was the final book I added into the cart before sending this out. I know this isn't going to blow your mind like earlier on, but this is good enough, that's what indie is about. *thumbs up*

Now that think of it, my previous hesitations has just come back again even though last time they went with a devil girl coverย and lost to... someone lol, this time around though they just went with two girls and nothing but lingerie, this is making me fascinated as much as I'm regretting my purchase and the cops are on the way right now so maybe I show you guys quick and we all go into the slammer by tomorrow. *laughs* Otherwise, their drawings are alright, and without a change of characters just seeing the same flat-chested girls in baby blue colour underwear is getting rather stale- FBI NO NO NO I'M MOVING ON (lol)

Man, I can't believe I have planned this week of work leave and public holidays all perfectly it's so *chef's kiss* because I spent the first two days down with a flu *ugh* struggling to sleep or stay awake, I went with my family to visit relatives for Lunar New Year, and then expedited this package to ship within 2 days so I can do this today. *dabs* Hey, if this isn't a better way to improve my days, I don't know what is. I'm tarting the new (lunar) year right, at least.
Before I end this though, and yes you can already leave this is just me trying to credit everyone who I have at least gave a glance to be shortlisted in here and yes there are a lot of them I can talk about ESPECIALLY considering half of the ones above aren't that great tbh, so let's see what I have missed! They are, in no particular order:
- I am so sorry Mushiki-senseiย and your book for C105 which is why I should up the limit to 24 pages instead, because you exceeded the count and I much rather talk about a "Takagi-san" sequel where we have a cute gal with inner hair colour tease me and be on top of me I can't even *giggles*
- As mentioned earlier in the intro, I was very keen on giving Kooyafu-sensei's artbook about thighs for C105 until if I'm not wrong it hit the release date and pushed itself out of pre-order before I could say yes. Maybe next time, next time let me bang the snake girl-
- Mamyouda-senseiย and your very secretive book looks really good I like the shame in the previews I saw hehe, but yeah this one also fell out of the pre-order period I restricted myself to, so maybe next time you draw some cute girls in shame just tell me. *wink* (Oh, that wasn't even their latest book!! Oops haha that was from C103 lol no wonder)
- For a good amount of time I did put in Yoshino-sensei's new book for C105 and was rather keen to give this even though it did not specify the number of pages, until I saw Yukioto Neru-sensei I think. But I think it's also the pre-order period, many of them fell out of range so *shrugs* (This is what Hatsuno-sensei would've been if they stopped drawing little girls-)
- Gyoza Nuko-senseiย your new book featuring the one girl was also great but I did opt you out mainly because I noticed the drawing angles are a little... not Anime. *giggles* I'm being very nice here I know Anime perfection and its shortcomings too even with its angles, but this one might be too obviously... off. *laughs* (Edit: Oh, this was for C104 too, they did do one for C105 too which might be worse-)
- Ah Ashima-senseiย your new book for C105 is not within the line-up and my reason was easy: It might be too much content. *giggles* But otherwise, your coarse yet pure drawings would easily compete with like, Akamoku-sensei and Amamine-sensei, this would've been quite a showdown if I had known of you sooner.
- And I'm glad I did not give Renian-senseiย and their new book for C105 because it's all recycled, I mean, illustrations from past years which I would assume this is the Korean illustrator just creating a book for this Comiket, but they are worth a mention. Keep trying, dude, just keep trying. *giggles*
- I am rather keen on rurudo-sensei's newest book until I realized that the cover girl has even lesser chest than those in Hatsuno-sensei's book (lmao) and we should have met in the previous Comiket so *shrugs* (also their book is HUGE) (Yes, I did not talk about their book for C105 which was even larger because I didn't fancy it)
- I did not fancy Yumeno Yuno-sensei's newest book even though I like the theme that they can't even spell on the cover correctly (lol) but they are still starting on this industry so, they have potential, lots of potential. *giggles*
- Mirea-senseiย and their new book for C105 should be the solid contender for Uniikura-sensei's book too as reviewed above until I realized how much more dangers the former was even though the latter is just blatant huge rack. *laughs* Or it just missed the pre-order period lol. Maybe we give this a chance next time LMAO *fap*
Thanks for all the artwork though, and I truly mean it as I find my way to support all of them overseas, I'm sure our paths will meet again... if you aren't doing rated doujin content or just drawing covers for JavaScript manuals lol WHAT *laughs*
"Why draw a cover for a coding manual? Who still reads coding manuals in 2025? Don't people just learn online or through AI chatbots now? Do we even need to entice an audience with the book cover when they just have an AI girlfriend teach them...?"
I have so many questions but I think I will stop haha see you guys again in August~
P.S. Now that I think about it, I should have taken the Melonbooks catalogue to hit half the budget for the summer Comiket review, but also, to show how many of the 180 102 artists I know. That would've been a good bit hehe I mean I can also do it now. *wink*
