She nodded her head and not long after, we left just as the work started.Dressed in a blue top and flowered dress, I said if she put in the effort she can look great, to her silence. I suggest we go to a patisserie nearby which Kaori-san said had a good atmosphere. We sat down and I ordered for us some tea and a cake stand full of mini desserts, to her delight. As the staff placed them down and walked away from our quiet corner by the window, I asked if she wanted some honey on her tea after adding some to mine.She leaned over on the table, placed her head on her wrists, and looked at me. I stopped at my actions in surprise."Hey, why are you doing all this for me?"
