Okay guys, we have good news and bad news.

The bad news is, no movie to watch this week. Uh, this might be an issue if I need a thumbnail for this post as I usually do haha so yeah, this is what we call "yabai". *laughs* On the upside, we got a lot of things to look forward to in the new year, and I'm not quite done with them so expect more blog posts leading to the end of the year, from fanfics and packages yesterday to like, well, compiling all the bad, bad things I've done for the year that I cannot mention in my future job interviews anyways. And they aren't even illegal. *laughs*

At some point I'm going to confidently say my hobbies are Anime and music but meanwhile, let's Anime and music!!

It's that time of the year again, where I have to dunk on Anime titles and see what else is left for me that I will watch under my very, very strict requirements because I've watched these for more than a decade and a half. *silence* Okay, besides that though, we can still be positive in the new year that Anime production not forget about new shows than basking in on the existing ones lol, so let's see what is there to offer!
  • The first few are just hero shows, huh. I really don't care if it isn't the new and final season of "BLEACH" though. *silence* I want to clarify, it's not because Ichigo is a hero, he isn't. *laughs*
  • Oh I guess "Tamon-kun Ima Docchi!?" is every otaku girl's wet dream haha I mean, it's interesting for a plot if you make it the other way around, and Hayami Saori as main girl is selling this real hard, but I don't think I'll care though- ITS BOY BAND ORIGINAL AS THEME SONGS haha I'm out
  • Ah I see so "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" is just Yaya-san having to blend in to a all-male school. *silence* NOPE (haha) (it's making waves because it is adapted from a manga 20 years ago though) (I gotta say Yaya-san this will make you famous finally haha)
  • "When it comes to magic Kunon (Hayami Saori) isnโ€™t your ordinary sorcerer." lol okay thanks but no thanks we got Tousen Kaname we don't need another one of these. *laughs* (I am so sorry to all blind people)
  • Hmm "Ikoku Nikki" you could've been a movie I could just cry to. Instead, you might make me cry every week for the next 3 months and I'm not sure if I want to do that. *laughs* No really, this slice-of-life drama sounds great but uh the problem is it's born from trauma. And with a not direct stepbrother who doesn't care. So yeah, rough start, I suppose.
  • "The Everyday Life of Part-Time Torture Workers" NOPE haha not when the world is in such a bad state lol WHO THINKS OF THESE IDEAS
  • Wow "Kirei ni Shitemoraemasu ka."ย [Premieres January 5th, 2026] might be my ideal life- But yeah also don't think I didn't notice that they are just touching on unknown territory with the laundromat premise though still in a slice-of-life story, but heck, it's simple life and boy we don't need AI in here when we got cute chick handling all of our clothes or fixing that one ribbon on that chick with a rack. *giggles* But yeah, if I need to give this, I might as well burn Suzushiro Sayumi's lovely voice into my brain. *dabs* At least give the (ending) theme song in the trailer, me, please. *sob* (Yep it's Kitagawa writing the song- AND THE TWEEDEES VOCALIST ON LYRICS??? *mind blown*)
  • "You Canโ€™t Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!" Yeah I won't, I've done it 5 years ago with "OsaMake" so no more clickbait considering I don't even know the voice cast. *laughs*
  • Alright so "Mayonaka Heart Tune" is like "Nisekoi" except we aren't banging any of them? *laughs* Okay okay I know the plot of the latter it's something to do with a key to a hole (LMAO) and this one is just some chick that got a guy a boner so I don't see the difference here. *giggles* NEXT!! (Looking at the trailer now, I wonder if I should even give this a chance considering RumiRumi and others are in this haha oh hey Sui-chan singing the opening theme song, but also, I like where the English title is at, finding the girl behind the voice- I already did. What do you think I've been doing all these years? *dabs*) (Is this how it works now, "Chitose-kun" type romance comedy? I don't know man...)
  • Welp, "Arne no Jikenbo" would have been a good mystery series even without the vampire part, really. *giggles*
  • "The Daily Life of a Single 29-Year-Old Adventurer" WHO THE F**K WATCHES THIS AND WHY AM I OLDER THAN THIS MAN- *cringe*
  • Okay "Shibou Yuugi de Meshi wo Kuu." why are you in mainstream Anime and not part of a full-on hentai series that'll take over the doujin industry? *laughs*
  • I'm starting to get PTSD from "Toumei Otoko to Ningen Onna: Sonouchi Fuufu ni Naru Futari" just remembering whatever that chick is in video game "Dispatch" and is hotter than this guy who we can't see. Good. *laughs*
  • "Champignon no Majo"ย [Premieres January 8th, 2026] might just be the next witch girl series I would be interested in mainly because of its feels, and I really think that's important in stories like these, we cannot live off specific circumstances or just weird characters or something, it kind of needs more... I don't know how to describe it kinda like in "Majo to Yajuu"... melancholy? Well, that's assume you care about it I just think the girl is cute. *laughs*
  • "Okiraku Ryoushu" I therefore bestow you the award of the longest Anime title I have seen this season. You are welcome. *pukes*
  • "As the kid learns there are powers at play in the digital world capable of more than simple posts, and if he wants to keep his sister safe heโ€™ll have to put far more than his social reputation on the line." Okay what is this, real life? *laughs* If it's a "Dead Account" can we just keep it dead, please? At least close the damn account, dude. *giggles*
  • Oh yeah "Yuusha no Kuzu" I kinda wondered what this is but now that I look at the plot, uh, did the yakuza in future Japan fall so far off we need Anime girls to replace them? *laughs*
  • No RC author "Jingai Kyoushitsu no Ningengirai Kyoushi" is NOT my new "Demi-chan" series lol this one did not have Ede-chan and that will never change- AY YO TEN-CHAN?? *laughs* Please, there's so many people in this cast, I doubt giving chance to half of them will make me want to listen to a sensei who doesn't even give a damn about being human. I don't know, go teach in a human school? Also what is he, me?? *giggles*
  • Ah yes "Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki" f**king normies liking each other- What about the ugly plebs like us, huh? We don't get to say the girl is more than ikemen and actually cute and get laid this way?? Bruh. *laughs* I would be totally sold if this isn't a shoujo series though. *laughs*
  • Yeah, this. "Seihantai na Kimi to Boku" [Premieresย January 11th, 2026] is already in my watch list mainly because of its colourful animation and diverse cast the last time I saw the trailer if I'm not wrong. And unlike whatever is not cooking with "Kashiwada-san" and whatever she is doing to that poor boy, I'm pretty sure I'll like the main girl here even if the main guy is boring af. *silence* AND HE IS ENJOYING IT- Opposites though, that's what I wish my life was around. I told you I will be falling in love with Suzushiro Sayumi's lovely voice this season, it's just how much. *wink* Also the secondary romance in here is so stacked, I don't even mind if none of them have rack. *laughs*
  • "Kaya-chan Isnโ€™t Scary" I'm pretty sure they are haha ALRIGHT don't look at the key visual please
  • And then basically we're going to be trashed in ratings by sequels of "Jigokuraku", "Oshi no Ko" and "Frieren" what else is new. *laughs*
Wow, this might be the most interesting winter season of Anime I've seen in years. *giggles* Looking back at this list though, I would argue I might give 3 shows off this list a try, and then ironically not mentioned as part of TV simulcast because it isn't I will likely also give retro romance series "Prism Rondo" a go as I've seen it a few months ago thanks to "Chilli Beans." singing the theme song and am rather piqued by its style. I'll take a look at that when it comes out a week after "Seihantai", it looks like. Yeah whatever, on Netflix I know, who cares they already bought half of the entertainment industry in America already, it doesn't matter- It's either them or AI slop so just STFU- *laughs*

Unrelated as in super related to the schedule going forward though, if "Seihantai" is airing on Sundays and I can get my hands on the B-roll (lol) on the same day (Edit: Sundays 5pm Japan time), we might do the same thing with "Kikaijikake no Marie" and watch that evening just so I don't have to watch on a Monday which uh, "KiNiShite" (the laundry one lol this is a weird abbreviation) would be airing so sucks for that, I suppose. But hey, which one do you think I'm more hyped about anyways? *giggles* Yeah, which Suzushiro Sayumi am I more hyped about- Yes. *laughs*

Ironically, Maria-chan won this week somehow and don't ask me why I probably was in the mood for pop than... I don't know, I thought Polka would do pretty well considering I've not heard of them in a while, but uh, melody is an issue with Klassic Note ie. I don't like weird melodies and lyrics so uh, maybe that's why I ended up just giving the one new song compared to, take this, TWO songs from the same composer including the title song!! *dabs* Yeah, this is how you know someone wrote songs to fit your taste. *giggles*ย 

To pad the song count lol, I also went back to listen to otoha's new album released last week again, and gave its album title song because why not, it's "the last day on Earth" for me already with all this AI cr*p. *cringe*

Tsuji Shion did make me think of who to pad for the song list but I went with otoha-san and I will credit them for the song awards next week when the results are out, and I'm glad Moeshi will be kicking off the new song backlogs I'll be listening to in the new year, so thanks for the Christmas present. And I'll be darned that Homecomings will be back with new songs because DAMN am I itching for more ever since they slapped me with an emotional album last year around this time, I missed that.

Well, you know what's up for next week, the Song Awards of course happening in a couple of days and I haven't even gotten to it yet. *laughs* I do have a rough idea of what will be the face of this year's awards already, so I'll be doing that and not thinking of new songs for next year for now. There isn't anything new releasing too unless we're talking about Anime theme songs of next season, but that'll have to wait. *wink*




Oh, who won Christmas? Hmm... I was just staring down Kanno Mai's pink Santa outfitย yesterday to notice her bare chest (note that I didn't say booba) so you tell me. *giggles* Seriously though, Karin-chan's Christmas event shame (welp can't show that hehe) + TrySail fanclub's first ever livestream (can't even spare a group photo though?) + eating with Akarin in her fanclub livestream ALL happening back to back on Christmas Eve is the best loner thing you can do to make me happy. *laughs* All paid for, by the way, these cost money. *laughs*

Alright, I think I'll borrow some screens on "Seihantai" as the thumbnail for this post then. *giggles* Suzuki Miyu-chan was it? You're welcome. *dabs* Oh, should I make the name joke again just like I did when I watched "Tenshi-sama" with Shiina? *laughs* Hey, it's a good joke, and I'm not going to make you make fun of that.
