I hate to say how good (or bad) a time I'm doing this and it has been a while (15 months to be exact), but let me get this out first: Happy birthday Natsukawa Shiina, I wished you had more glasses in your room than Kasumi-san here has in hers because she has like, FIFTEEN of them while you struggle to find a pair of compatible glasses last year. *giggles*

I am rather excited to do this and it should've been last week, but now that it's here, I think I'm ready. *smiles* Okay not in the way that you think, because with all these posts there has always been a theme of some sorts you can see the title of this post again to confirm I have made the effort *wink* but also, it's the best time to round up what I know about Hasegawa Kasumi since I knew of her a few years ago... If not for the photobook review I did last year. *laughs* So yeah, this will be another recap of sorts probably more in-depth than before, THEN we'll see if she deserves my title of "glasses chick" if that isn't a name I just made up for her. *giggles*

Let's put on them glasses and see what she has to offer! Oh, mine's already on, permanently. *dabs*

THE REVIEW

ABOUT THAT CHICK WITH GLASSES

Okay that might be a bad heading now that I think about it. *laughs*

But as I distract you from these terrible jokes, I also have been finding about her and how all this started, and it's somewhat different from marupi-san whom I also knew of her through Instagram. This time around it was more relevant, as I knew of Kasumi-san here (don't ask why I refer to her like this now lol) actually through the algorithm: A shorts drama series called "Oretachi no Azasu" in which she graduated from earlier this year. BUT if you went back and watched the videos she was featured in (which only had Japanese subtitles so I'm sorry to that one guy who is still complaining about it lol) including when she won't let you go home unless she beats you in Mario Kart ("kurasuzo" haha which sounded like "korosu" and please end me here and now with this photobook-), or when she gave you her number working at a cafe *wink*, or when work senpai invited you to come over to her place at night *giggles* (I will link to these when I can find them... in due time haha) (Edit: thank you saved Reels hehe) you can see that there are a lot of scenes to offer all ending with "thanks" which is satisfyingly but most of the time romantically enticing, and that is the shtick of their videos. This has since extended to a younger cast in high school (see "Bokutachi no Azasu") and even worked in collaboration with Anime (see "Kanan-sama" specials where Koga Aoi-) (come back here, me haha) but that's not the point here. Watching many of these over time did draw me into her more than the other 2 girls featured in the series (who are still in the current cast FYI), and that says a lot... if I didn't remind you that Kasumi's selling point is her with glasses in every single one of those videos. *dabs* "It's the chick with glasses" dude hehe

And that is what this is all about for her... if that's all you see online. *laughs* Her as an actual real-life drama actress and model is a lot more than that, seeing her work on other short series and working on full-length dramas all without glasses are very good examples of her aspiring career and increasing popularity, no doubt complimented by her just putting stuff in front of her eyes and also I have a glasses fetish. *dabs* Of course fast forward to just this year, where she started her own fanclub (*ahem* which I did not sign up) (lol) along with focusing on doing more YouTube videos, even went as far as making a wedding-based special program for a Nagasaki's Couple Support variety show even though she was born in Fukuoka and it's close enough? (lol) And it was featuring her with glasses and how brides can look great in them? *blessed* Yep, I'll probably cover more on those at the end of this review by the way, but suffice it to say that this, along with her appearances online as I recalled of her previous Instagram live promoting her collaboration goods which I bought... last year lol why is it all a year ago? Haha this will explain how I got the last of her yearly releases of photobooks that are self-produced (by the way) are selling like hotcakes since 2019? I'm just glad I even got a copy on pre-order. *giggles* But they are half-sized nor does it count as a "photobook" as explained by Kasumi-san in her June monthly update YouTube video and I think I mentioned this many times, that "photobook" in Japanese is smaller scale sometimes lack of a theme, while "shashinshuu" is the formal definition of such things usually approached by a publisher with larger backing and marketing, which is why we are here. Kasumi considers the latter in a different category even reserved for such cases, and thus has agreed to do this at least once even though last year was actually the final year she is doing this. *sob* The announcement came in quick just a couple of months ago, and without much hesitation after revealing of the store-based bromide photo gifts, I went with TOWER RECORDS because that angle, I mean, glasses, dude. *giggles*

Between these and all the digital photobooks she has done over the years where she has shown her slender body *giggles* I would say that I was not into her just for that, and trust me, her rather matured medium-pitched voice (which is higher than the average for Japanese females by the way) and overall appearances drew me in. Maybe it will make more sense once I dive into the photobook from here we will analyze her beauty in great detail, as you will find out if me recommending this beautiful lady to you (who is by the way, only a year older than me hehe) will be a show of good taste through my lenses. *dabs*

Now that we know all about her, let's talk about the boob- book! *laughs* Please, this is a photobook about glasses. *giggles*

This photobook is a travel photobook unfortunately no one has better ideas though if you saw her self-released photobook in 2024 which even featured Chinese cosplay themes I can't even hehe, but hey, not like I've made a trip down Amami Islands off Okinawa (so it's basically Okinawa lol) and many of its other islands so that we will never overlap as long as you are not in the main island haha, still has much to offer, of course, not just including her with glasses. *smiles* We are also promised swimsuits too, so this is already going to be a good trip down south. *wink*

Let's see through her lenses and find out through the "mist", what we have missed! *blessed*

Wow, how is this no BS photobook even better than all the stuff I've seen of her in the past few years? *giggles* I would summarize this photobook (thankfully without an interview hehe though I was totally prepared to do that and learn more about her ngl) as a comparison of sorts, where every scene starts out with either glasses which *blessed* OR she starts out without and noticed my disappointed face and BOOM, glasses. Or cleavage peek, whichever gets me first. *laughs* And I'm very happy with this. Actually, I'm happy with any chest; I'm not ma bro who only wants women with rack. *dabs*

So yeah, 10/10 would recommend especially if you know of her so why aren't you even buying the digital edition right now? *dabs* Also, post title just upgraded from "good" to "refined" to impeccable". You're welcome, me. And Kasumi-san, you are amazing the more I know of you. *smiles*

Damn, this might be my most matured review ever, and I don't just mean her. *giggles*

Oh boy, finding the links from the "Azasu" series is making me watch back her featured short videos, especially the behind-the-scenes cuts those are real-ly awesome even without me. *giggles* Hey, I didn't watch every single one of them, but do you even need to? *dabs* Also the convergence is kinda similar once you've watched enough of them, and I can only take this much *blessed* and cringe plotlines so I'm stopping here. *laughs* Blah blah this is how I end up with my fanfics on its 9th season too I know, so I'm not complaining about creativity here in a photobook. *giggles* I will patch up everything I've missed over the weekend or next week as usual, because just like Chiyo-chan from Anime "Hyakkano" series, I will continue to fix imperfections in this post until I'm satisfied.

Kasumi-san is perfect though, just don't take those glasses off because I will cry. *laughs* No I mean for me since I can't see for sh-
