Welcome back!! So uh, I didn't borrow the post subtitle from an anime (lol) because it's also not the real one anyways this is all just Lust suffice it to say this whole review has a long story tied to it which took way too long to compile (I'm hallucinating about the subtitle haha), including a very cringe-worthy limitation from my new shipping accomplice Buy&Ship, so let's finally spend more time to talk all about it!!

Yes, it was about an auction run. *laughs*

But first, some unboxing, shall we? "This is going to be a bum-py ride~"

Alright, let's start with a new era bomb. *laughs* Uh oh is FBI monitoring my site already? Haha if so I better quickly explain what this is, this is RumiRumi's calendar for the school year's acrylic stands!!!! *laughs* Yeah I know right what even is this? Why make a fuss out of this, me. WELL, TURNS OUT...!!! *laughs* And I told myself NOT to buy those DayRe: acrylic stands because they were what, 1500 yen each I think? Yeah yeah no, RumiRumi is different, we got history. *dabs* Okay should I tell the truth now? Because by buying ALL FOUR ACRYLIC STANDS representing the 4 seasons as you can see here I'm a fan of spring and winter just because they have been my desktop wallpapers for a while *giggles* YOU WILL GET!!! A kiss- *laughs* Nah, it's because there is gift with purchase, and by spending every 5500 yen one will be able to get, at random, a selected bromide photo of one of each of the 4 seasons. *blessed* So yeah, baited by bromide photos once again what a surprise haha, and here we are with TWO, because that will total to be a minimum purchase amount of um... 5500 times 2 is- Go count yourself, I'm not gonna tell you it's almost a hundred bucks. *laughs*

And the way I managed to hit this number as mostly an impulse buy from noticing the final call from Seigura who organized this for her as usual shout out *salutes* and she re-posted it, which if you would recall her event goods normally involved photos but not in this one they don't (lol) which was of course also to feature the calendar, but I instead chose to buy FOUR acrylic stands and top it up with the badges set which once again, told myself not to buy more of those anymore but I still did it and the exception always comes after the fact *giggles* but yeah, thanks to starting this acrylic stand trend due to Marinka-chan last year, I'm here dealing with WAY too much money for what was... I didn't even get my hands on the Spring RumiRumi photo. F**K!! *laughs*

At least it ain't the small Moeshi one- *laughs* THE CANVAS ART!! RELAX!! Haha that was a dumb choice it's so hard to find a place to showcase that ngl

Doing another Suruga-ya run was kinda out of necessity considering that around this time RumiRumi's order will be the only thing out... in a few weeks more lol it was slightly delayed, so I'm like why not since I cannot wait for future stuff appearing like wink wink the new Seigura magazine to appear WHICH WILL NOT MAKE SENSE HERE but trust me it will later if you read on (haha) but suffice it to say that despite foreshadowing this back in like, May when RumiRumi's order was finally shipping out, I had to pad it with something.

This order is easy because it mainly comprises 1x Ogura Yui (lol) (okay more like 8x) and then a couple of TrySail ones because I ran out of good Yui-chan ones to get. *laughs* This was also a consequence of not doing a NonNon fanclub bromide photos run (which uh.... nah) (lol) or even a Chisa-chan run which WOULD HAVE BEEN SUCH A GOOD BIT by now haha but yeah, the latter was also harder as it will come from their affiliate marketplace (see, accomplices also need accomplices hehe) which will likely take even longer to appear, if this proxy order hasn't charged me more money just to miss the free shipping weekend. *cringe* AND EVEN THEN this was technically the first package in this post. *laughs*

And ironically, this was also around the time, since these will have to sit and wait for more... stuff because remember, this was BEFORE Kasumi's photobook announcement and stuff so I don't know what to pad, and in came to my brain of a suggestion... of an auction run... thanks to a Seigura magazine prospective buy...? *giggles*

So yeah, it's back, it's that time of the year or season which this is the first time it was shipped using Buy&Ship and thank goodness it found its way here but after a questioning from support (lol) with way more shipping labels on this letter packaging (why) but this is the newest issue of Inori Machi's fanclub newsletter!! *dabs* Really, this is just a symbol to my dedication to her more than her dedication to do monthly livestreams recently promoting of course, her new summer song single (which isn't bad imo) and then some, mostly just the close-ups on the camera. *blessed* I'm not going to convince you to like this little chum (lol) but damn, this is also why I am dedicated to ship this out just because my longest standing(?) fanclub subscription (with a year gap lol) will last as long as she can make me happy. So far so good, and if you need a reminder, this one was all spring-themed and her goods came in last month so... fully justified subscription price increase. *giggles*

So sorry for the mess in order I can't cherry pick what to open but I can talk about how all this happened and my own thought process, so let's start with the top.

Initially my plan was to get these Scene0 magazine postcard sets which are possible to get with a purchase of a magazine series with a rather unique take of THREE (3) featured female voice actresses in Japan which is somehow better than the "My Girl" series, but *ahem* did not quality for the "all" girls I know of requirement (hehe) so I did not get my hands on the physical-only magazines... and they made sure you have to get them at least 3 times too, by bundling each featured girl(?) in sets of 3 photos, across 3 (are you tired of the number yet? lol) different sets of postcards with blah blah limited edition lottery present but the latter is not the point. This was to ensure that if you want the full set of NINE (9) postcards of a single girl(?) you would have to buy ALL THREE SETS- Which I didn't. *laughs*

Because wake up we are in auction mode now haha and I'm including Mercari in the mix, you can find people who have compiled the full set of nine postcards on the used market, and across different magazines, I got my hands on Komatsu Mikako (and that's why the question mark, because every time I say "girl" this is "mom" haha) and then Amamiya Sora on the next issue released on the following month, and despite them being a couple months back, I still managed to get them on the cheap (though Ten-chan is obviously more ex she is... uh, less mom LMAO) and oh boy, do they not have listings on the auction house, this was actually all thanks to Mercari.

So thanks guys, I am half-MILF now. *laughs* (Dude, you have NO IDEA how much I want Mikakoshi even if she has a kid-)

So uh, if you thought the unboxing and write-up so far was long? It'll take even more explanation as to how I ended up with a lot of these Seiyuu Grand Prix bromide photos!!! Not for sale, by the way. *laughs*

All things come with an initial plan, so the simple idea (lol) back then in like early June (which means I have less than a month) was to (1) get as many Yamane Aya bromide photos as she was featured in (naming these is going to be confusing but just remember that) the June issue which was released in May *ugh* haha so there was only one I did not get my hands on due to its high price (which can buy two of the others), and then (2) figure out how to get the bromide photos of Takahashi Rie and Amamiya Sora AS SOON AS the new July issue was out (yup) which just means I have to crawl Buy&Ship AND Yahoo! Auctions every day and night (haha) in order to look for initial listing and hopefully best deals within the week so it'll ship on time to consolidate.

Initially it went well since Yaya-san ones are just around and I just needed to scoop in on what's left, even though I would argue every month at the time of the magazine release there is a suspicious increase in number of new listing just because you know, they know I'm here. *giggles* But uh, this did NOT go to plan because as I quickly snatched on reasonably cheap ones (with respect to Ayachi's bromides LMAO so as in slightly above 500 yen, slightly above hehe) for the first 2 days of the July issue ones ie. Ten-chan and Rieri, I slowly realized after each passing day, there are better deals than ever where I see sets of 2 which conflicted with my single purchases so I can't buy them even if hey are cheaper, and over that weekend I saw FULL SETS for BOTH GIRLS and I legit tried to flip my standing desk while sitting I can't even. *laughs* It would have also been cheaper overall, but more importantly, this would ALSO have solved the 10-package consolidation problem from Buy&Ship since they are bundled together, but sadly I had to let those pass and try to get as many of the others as I could.

This may have not answered the question earlier as to WHY I did not get the Seigura magazine itself because to be fair, doing this was more fun *giggles* but also, the front cover was NOT of Rieri as she is technically "cosplaying" (and this is so far-fetched I can't even) as the main character in Anime "Akane-banashi" WHICH I DID NOT WATCH so if I bought this, then Sumipe actually cosplaying as Ram-chan from "Urusei Yatsura" from a few years ago would have counted, but in *fap* it didn't. *laughs* And also why the "KanoKari" purchase from 6 years ago would now make sense, and even then they aren't cosplaying. Ah, I love justifying my own bad decisions. *giggles*

Lastly, and this is where I realized the Buy&Ship consolidation limit, which also means by the time Kasumi's photobook and Inorin's newsletter came by, that I would have some empty spaces I would be doing international shipping on (and paying for them fuel surcharges because remember there was a war on while I'm doing all this?) would STILL be more worth to ship some of them out which are closer to the consolidation expiry since they came in one by one staggered, and will buy us some time to (3) snatch the bromide photos of Minase Inori on the LATEST August issue (haha) of the magazine which released in July!!!

Why even stop, right? Is the point. I don't know how I managed to consolidate these despite all the waiting. *dabs* Call me a genius, please. A genius with a hollowed-out wallet though, and I think I've explained myself enough. *laughs*

So last but not least, and continuing the lore of the auction run we are close to done I promise you, this is Kanno Mai first ever live radio event bromide set!! Eh, uh, if you have NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE, I won't blame you for several reasons. *giggles*

If you do not know of her even after ALL the damn things I have done for her since she started her solo Niconico series a couple of years ago so 2023 to be specific and the year will be relevant in a bit, then you just need to know that this was part of her radio show which began at the start of that year premiering on YouTube weekly (as my lullaby lol it was that late), which led to this and it happened in June of that year.

If you DO know of her though and even went to this very event, then you MIGHT be one of few people who knew that, and I have evidence to prove of this from the blog of the Niconico channel which fuelled this event of course using our subscription fees *dabs* is that, this very bromide set as sold on the auction site as I was browsing what else I can buy hehe, is THE GIFT for just being there and NEVER SOLD ONLINE, which will explain why literally zero information of what these looked like ever surfaced in the many years afterwards in my life... Until now. *laughs*

So to fill in the gap as mentioned earlier, and since I found the Inorin set (contrary to individuals) which only missed the one bromide photo which I wasn't that interested in it was sparklers but the one from 5 years ago was better *dabs* (see first fanfic featuring Inorin, thanks), and I also managed to get another Yaya-san one which means initially I only got 3 of them and now plus this one, which also means there is just ONE MORE SLOT (hehe) I can buy within this period which will arrive and be sent out on time, though that was how it led to this delay. AND THIS IS A STEAL I tell you!! *giggles* I mean, it's from me as a fan of her so I'm of course biased, and MaiMai here isn't exactly Rieri popular (OOF) but also this being a rare physical item to say the least, I'm glad I took this time to buy this off from an auction site just so I can complete my simp on this girl I can't even. *dabs*

You are welcome MaiMai; I bought this from some dude because I totally LOVED you in that China-in-cafe outfit- And that was before her birthday events and photobook releases, by the way. This would've FLIPPED MY LID if I got hold of this back then. *giggles* Which is why I CANNOT BELIEVE I CAN GET THIS so damn long later- *blessed*

To sum the latter half up (and trust me I want to make a bigger joke by comparing to the others in which the newsletter is FREE lol) allow me to do the dumb thing I do every year (lmao) by collating ALL the charges in yen just to prove how F**KING STUPID of an idea this is do buy them one by one. Please, I learned my lesson halfway through, I technically saved it. *dabs*
