It's no surprise that Minase Inori and I have been great friends now, even if all she did was save my life that one day. Still, she did arrange something for my birthday, and told me to come to her place one Saturday afternoon.I reached her apartment door and keyed in the 4-digit pin she told me the night before via phone call. I walked down the short yet dark corridor to reveal a quaint living space, with stacks of balloons on the floor and a colourful curtain above a brown sofa."Happy birthday!!"Minase-san leapt out of the balloon stack, giving me a jolt. I thanked her for everything, and she said she prepared a little something for me. Grabbing the guitar from the couch, she said she practized some songs to celebrate (which I had no idea about), and we sung together familiar songs in her warm abode. She then saw a reminder on her phone and dragged me out to have lunch at a nearby restaurant.I could not be a happier man that day, for whom I was supposed to repay the favour.
Yeah, suck it Rieri, your fanclub video of singing the standard birthday song can't beat this singalong session. *dabs* Little do you know we did sing a birthday song apart from mostly her solo artist songs lol. But yes, that one from her single she sang to herself last year during her birthday... live of sorts lol now archived by the way. I, uh, still didn't give the song till this date. *laughs* And instead of suggesting she celebrated my birthday on the day itself just in case the ex finds out haha Inorin knows and is wiser to not offend the girlfriend lol, she decided to do it on a normal weekend afternoon.
