I know this is a good time to enjoy the soundtrack which I have not been in a long time, but uh... this lack of dialogue is very concerning. *cringe* In this new episode where everything falls apart besides the love (#KakeKoi07) but that's also the problem, eh? Where else is the love if everything fell apart? *silence* It is with a heavy heart similar to Kakeru's when Koharu went missing for a week, that I deliver the bad news on a review that I will mock on but I still will for the guy at least lol, but for the girl... I think we have lost her. This is kind of reminiscent of uh, the (spoiler alert) "KimiSui" sudden end plot we were warned of when watching such a series, yes? Hey, I also wanted this story to be wholesome. But the circumstances are rather unique, you wouldn't think the author will just give you a happy ending... right? RIGHT, ME??!! *silence* Yeah, my bad, it's hard to make jokes now, to be fair. *giggles* But still, I will compensate for the super long summary of this review at the end because I wrote that first, as I shall quickly talk about the events. As mentioned on social too, it's interesting that the only clue they gave you after losing Koharu for a week is from Narumi who saw her go into a private hospital far away from school... which then reminded me instead of the counter AT the hospital, Kakeru and Yuko would be better off asking the school about what happened to Koharu. *silence* I'm not going to dunk on them but hey which is why, the author is smart enough to NOT do that but instead give you a blank puzzle without questions asked, and told you to go figure it out yourself. From Kakeru running to the hospital not knowing what to say to Koharu who just watched that dumb confession video Yuko sent to her (and I now wonder if she even saw it) to endlessly searching in the (fortunately) small hospital premises for any visible clue of her presence... Desperation is more important than purpose because look at Kakeru when he was relieved seeing Koharu playing the piano with some kids singing along. But that's where the fun ends. She's alive, of course she is she has always been, but uh, not everything else. And this is what I think is the deal breaker, and the moment she was set down and I wonder why she didn't just ask if she knew of them, did she then reveal that, of all things, she lost her memory of them. I would argue no long-term memory, but if it's university life? It is likely no more. *cringe* All in all... I don't want to break it to anyone who has been following on my Anime watching but uh, this is the same as (spoiler alert) "Shunkashuutou Daikousha" isn't it? We're going to have to deal with the other Fuyutsuki Koharu and not the one we have known and loved? *cringe* Well, I have experience in this as in watching Anime, but heck, this still hurts, and I think this just being the only black horse this season... this might hit even harder. *sob* And now suddenly "KimiSui" doesn't sound so bad right now. *silence* That isn't even funny but I'll reserve my comments. Heck, that also means this isn't even the first time?? HOLY HECK- Oh, so we got lucky with one of the times her character aligned with her lack of memory that she decided to be positive and fall in love with some dude? Huh. I thought saying this at the start of the episode was cringe, but really, "now what?" though? I don't know. *silence* I do know that Fuyutsuki will make jokes as to say to love her and accept her everything which I get even if she is blind, but this, THIS is another galaxy of its own. Do the parents know?? Yeah, this feels kinda serious, but considering she is in a private hospital, I would assume keeping her alive... uh, how to put this nicely, isn't her choice. Again, this was one of the lives she chose. The alternative was to gouge her eyes out. Which honestly in this case might be better off though. Losing eyes suddenly doesn't feel so bad when there isn't brain rot and I don't mean scrolling TikTok lol. *sigh* Let me digest this just like how the other 2 will have to eventually, and we shall see where this goes.
